Frogmore Creek presents an intimate wine dinner series featuring award winning wines from across our range, as well as comparative evenings of international wines, expertly paired with dishes designed by Head Chef John Churchill.

Join us in The Lounge for one, or all six events, on the first Monday of the month from July through to December 2019.

1 July | Single Block Series hosted by Alain Rousseau
The first dinner of the series will exclusively feature wines from the Frogmore Creek Single Block Series. Estate Harvested small batch and single varietal wines including Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz and Merlot just to name a few. Alain will take you through the collection, chat about the vineyard and winemaking, plus showcase the latest release 2017 Barbera Tempranillo.

5 August | Pinot Noir feature hosted by Stan Zheng
Pinot Noir is one of the most revered and collected wine varieties in the world and we consider ourselves very lucky that Tasmania hosts the perfect climate for growing these highly sought-after grapes. Often delicate in nature, it takes a developed palate to truly appreciate Pinot Noir’s intricacies, perfumed aromas, textural elements and supple tannin profile.

2 September | New Zealand v Tasmania – hosted by John Bown
Our resident Kiwi and second Winemaker John Bown hosts a comparative dinner of New Zealand and Tasmanian wines. With similar cool climate styles, John will share his experience in both New Zealand and Tasmanian winemaking and viticulture. Join us for an evening of delicious dishes paired with some of the best Pinot Noir Tasmania and our offshore neighbours have to offer.

 7 October | Tasmania vs. France hosted by John Bown
Our Winemaker John Bown is back to host another edition of “First Monday of the Month”, this time with a collection of wines from France to compare against our Frogmore Creek Range and paired with a three course menu designed by Head Chef John Churchill.

4 November | Spring Carnival | Sparkling and Rosé hosted by Stan Zheng
An evening of Sparkling and Sparkling Rosé.. Join us on the deck with our Cellar Door Manager Christine to celebrate the beginning of Spring racing season, and everything that goes along with it, with flowing sparkling wines, roving canapes and a seated dinner.

2 December | Winemakers Reserve host Alain Rousseau
Join our Senior Winemaker, Alain Rousseau and he presents the Winemakers Reserve range. Each vintage our team select a handful of grapes to work with to create the Frogmore Creek Winemakers Reserve. These limited release wines are developed in micro-batches using a range of techniques to highlight and showcase the quality of the fruit. This, together with ageing, produces captivating wines which are complex with immense depth and incredible balance.
